But of course. I'll upload them when I'm near my solaris again. Not sure if saved all the patches that i used for the examples. But i can tell you it's mostly a combination of overdriving the filters by feeding the mixer (or the filter) back in and some vca boost. Eg mixer 1 has osc1 at input 1 at 63 volume and mixer 1 at input 2 at volume 38. Osc set to moog square eg.
Filter boost around 78. I mostly set the joystick to the filter, the mod wheel to the resonance and the ribbon as a sidechain for the eg1 amount to the filter. Oh and ribbon set to hold on

Late to the party -:) great patches btw! Would love to see them to learn how you built them if you don't mind.
Cheers

For anyone interested, plughugger made some dirty sounds (ao) i really like. Also some more EDM oriented sounds. Nice! It's an old article but i somehow missed the examples.
It's here:

Thanks Toby, this is getting there! Keep 'm coming i would like to say. I like 'm even cleaner and more raw (IYKWIM). Could you maybe record the sound without the reverb?

Bump. Could any Solaris owner help me with a few (more) simple analogue sound examples?

Thanks,
Ah, a decimator, could have guessed it. I'm in the middle of a song full of decimators.

Yes there is a noise (S/H) oscillator.
The sort of aliasing is what i wish to have: i use for that a decimator.

It's a monophonic sound, so all the variation in the sound are only obtain playing the keyboard.

Merci for helping me out on this! .. Still sounds a bit friendly/polished to my ears, but way better refererence for judging simple/dirty analogue then anything I heard so far. I hear noise (i mean intentional noise oscillator) in the low freq's near the end am I right? If so could you record it without ? And I hear artefacts around 0.6 0.15 and 0.27 is that aliasing or some kind of modulation. Just wondering. And i'm really anxious to hear what happens if you apply John's tips. I guess boosting the vca takes away some of the polishedness.

And how about some simple bass sound (like from the vermona "xfront-bassline xxxxx" examples).
