There’s nothing specific for the joystick, but there’s enough padding in there that I wouldn’t worry about it.

Does it protect the joystick?

I have a soft case for the Solaris but am permanently worried about the joystick and have tried to find a way to protect it. My latest idea (which I have yet to implement) is to have a plastic cup of sorts and try to fix that to the unit with a strap. A hard case is forbiddingly expensive, unfortunately.
