Could someone verify if this is either a bug or am i missing something (I'm a fresh owner).

When i use the up/down arpeggiator, it skips a note now and then when holding one note and quickly playing other notes. The other modes don't show this behaviour, neither does my nord lead in up/down mode. On the Nord (and various other synths) the arp sequence is not interrupted no matter how fast or off time the second note is played.

Am i missing something?

To repeat:
select a simple sound with a short decay and no sustain so the effect is heard well
set arp to up/down
resolution 1/16, 120 bpm
hold a note
repeatedly play any other (single) note. The arp sequence is interrupted

I tried adjusting the legato settings but this makes no difference.

thanks!

I watched the movie and tried out the arpeggiation, and this is not a bug - it's actually how that particular scanning pattern is handling the note events. If you try it with the Mode set to Up/Down2, you will get a different result.

Hi M-Prod,
sorry, I was confused by another polyphony issue while using "hold" button or pedal assigned to sustain. That behavior looks similar to your arp issue, resulting in the polyphony assignment.
For that issue external plugin can help to avoid the problem but it will not fix the arp. Apologies again, haven't read in details before replying.

Hi K-tracker. Thanks for your reply. I'm not sure what you mean. I don't use the sustain pedal. Does the 'polyphony assignment while 'hold'' cause dropped notes in the arpeggiator? And i'm not sure what you mean with the external plugin. How would that solve skipping notes in the solaris arp.

Hi, Do you have access to "bug report" forum area? if not, ask John to add you there. Polyphony assignment while "hold" has an issues. That's a bit tricky for me to play without sustain pedal :) That's simply impossible for me. However there is a solution - external plugin which you can use for the sustain management - SC sustain Lite, it's here: http://s-production.de/
That will be a workaround until it's not fixed in FW.

Hi there,

Could someone verfiy if this is either a bug or am i missing something (I'm a fresh owner).

I tried adjusting the legato settings but this makes no difference.
