What I am aiming at is polarity but I suppose it would be cool if it could tell the type as well... Precognition, sort of... :D

I just read up on the Virus and it turns out that it senses polarity at power on. How? I have no idea, I'm afraid.

No idea...will have to ask Jim. this is for sensing the polarity, or if it's a sustain pedal vs an expression pedal? Not sure how you'd do that without playing with the pedal.

Auto sensing pedal input

I just read about the Access Virus and that it sports auto sense pedal input so "you don't have to worry about configuration when you need to borrow a pedal in a hurry."

Be that as it may, it is still a nice feature and something I have fiddled with too many times already. So the question is how hard would it be to add that? Is it even possible?

If so would this be a "nice to have" feature, rather than a priority. :D
