We went to Night of the Prog in 2011 and is one of the best festivals we've been to. We've gone to all the NEARfests and ROSfests and several Progdays here in the states.
But NotP had the largest production we've seen. Since this is Prog, there is a tremendous amount of gear on stage. When you add Eloy to headline, you now have 14 synths of all shapes and sizes scattered across the stage for the most blissful symphonic romp!
Anyone into going to an amazing festival of top progressive rock bands, put Night of the Prog on your list. It's such a beautiful location to boot.
That said, I'm waiting for the first spotting of the Solaris live!

Actuals bands and Synth

I'm back from Lorelei Prog of night Fest

I was a little bit surprised with the synth used there.
The more current : Nord : synth, EP, Organ.
Of course VST
Old numeric gear from the 90's, some old digital Korg or Yamaha ( an SY 85 for example )
5 Minimoog : One in tune, 3 out of tune, 1 wich refused to emit sound
3 fakes mellotron.

I haven't seen any digital synth born after 2000 ( except the fake mellotron ) or analogic synth ( except the minimoogs )

But the music was excellent, in particular i discovered two nice bands :
Anima Mundi ( from cuba ), try it, very nice synth parts.
Anglagard ( from Sueden ), very good keyboards.
only for prog fans.
