Thanks Brotha's,

I use to play in a cover fusion band, low pay, but the best gig I ever used my synths on.

Sadly it went over like a Reggae Band at Klan rally.
In Tahoe we are doing Birdland as an opener to bring on the singer, and Teen Town to keep my Bassist from falling asleep, but people like it. In Vegas only the musicaians hanging out liked that stuff.

Software Solaris w/ Dual Filters

Software Solaris allows Oscillators to have their own Filters and Envelopes, which is great for live work.

I can play and hold a chord from a preset that has 4 Oscillators. The inintial sound is the CEM Oscillators mimmicking an Oberheim OBX dual Osc. Saw sound w/ the SSM Filter, and the pair of MultiMode Oscillators follow up with their seperate Comb Filter and long attack Envelope.

I am limited to 5 voice polyphony usually since I like using evolving type presets that give the illusion of more than 1 synth. Solaris in hardware will make these DSP heavy presets a breeze.

The Synth string preset is a simple Saw pair detuned, the Bass is a monophonic dual unison preset using the Mini Filter w/ high resonance,

The poly synth preset w/ the Comb / SSM filter combo gets it's realistic analog synth sound from the new PolyGlide features where seperate amounts of glide can be applied to each Oscillator.

I plan on using soft Solaris w/ the hardware version live to really torture the Motif / Receptor guys I often play oppisite of.

I am afraid they will be beaten unmercifully.
