F5D - Solaris Analog Programs recorded with and without fx

by F5D » Fri Oct 21, 2016 10:59 am

Hi all, I was asked to record some of my Solaris analog imitations sounds without fx to distinguish which part of the sound comes from the Solaris and which from my fx that I often use while recording synths. Here is a link to my SoundCloud for the clip: https://soundcloud.com/f5d/solaris-prg-part1

I left some comments in the timeline telling which part includes fx and which not. From the Solaris, I used the eq in some cases. The fx, if in use, are analog EHX guitar pedals or at the end stereo delay in logic or Relab LX480 reverb. The Solaris does not need fx to sound analog, but it can really shine with some nice analog fx added afterwards.
