The Vowel Filter didn't appear in any of my patches, since I do not understand what it does.
* An individual vowel emphasizes certain frequencies across the spectrum, which can be expressed by a set of band pass filters at fixed frequencies but different widths (aka »Q«). Great.
* The Vowel Filter allows to select from up to 5 Vowels, setting the according band pass filters. Great.
* Only one of the selected Vowel Bands can be active at a time, controlled (respectively cross faded) by the Cross Fade parameter. Great.
* Without the Cutoff and Resonance parameters set to reasonable values, modulating the X-fade parameter will not show the expected result. Head scratch.
So my question is: What do the cutoff and resonance parameter do concerning the Vowel filter?
