I believe you are correct that 0 represents C4, but I’d have to verify this by having Nicholas check this in the code.
The steps should represent semitones, yes.

Hi,
In the filter parameter, it is possible to specify a value between -127 and 127 that defines the split point where the key tracking is applied. Is the default center value (0) C4 ? And do the values correspond in the number of semitones from that default center note ?
