No, the optical connection will not work as an ADAT connection, sorry.

Also, no matter what the clock speed you send into the Solaris, it will convert to 48 kHz for the output. This is for the digital audio I/O signals (note that the internally processing is still running at 96 kHz clock rate).

Hello , if i plug my antelope clock in solaris in 96K do the solaris will sound better ?
and is it possible to make the spdif output work like an adat ? because my sound card have optic conection but in adat , and spdif conection but not in optic :(
