Re: Developer Fund

@david : I'am for whatever works / can be done without reinventing the wheel / recoding / wasting time and money... etc :) @jim : I understand why you stick with wires so I'll deal with it ! I hope though you'll consider some kind of " branching " to reduce the amount of wires, most simple case is S...

Re: Developer Fund

I would *** INSTANTLY *** pay Jim Hewes for the job already done on the Solaris OS and Solarium further development ( provided he has the time ) The Solarium approach is the most effective for a complex synth like Solaris, Jim has a Solaris and has successfully tweaked the OS for the benefit of all ...

Re: Totally stripped down presets bank

You're welcome !
I encourage everyone to make their own starter template variants from this blank page like OSC1 in mixer 1, OSC2 in mixer 2 ... etc for time saving purposes :)

Totally stripped down presets bank

I made a presets bank that goes further than INIT bank for my uses : the most blank I could get to really start from total scratch ... for instance all EGs are set to 0 except of course EG6. FX are on but you need to add them in FX channel 1 with input Synth for a start, other FX channels need an in...

Re: USB recognition since OS 1.4

I took some screenshots for further investigations : https://preview.ibb.co/bUAJ1b/Solaris_1_40_1_USB_Win10_Pro_64_bit_1.jpg Translation from left panel : this device can't start ( code 10 ) https://preview.ibb.co/cXfJ1b/Solaris_1_40_1_USB_Win10_Pro_64_bit_2.jpg https://image.ibb.co/hOLJ1b/Solaris_1...

Re: USB recognition since OS 1.4

Solaris not recognised as well here since 1.40.1 in ( updated ) Windows 10 Pro 64 bit I've tried various USB ports, most times nothing happens at all and at best it's recognised ( kind of : there's a line of ... in the retrieve USB peripherals menu ) in parameters it's recognised but with a driver e...

Trouble when tweaking down LFO rates with Shift

First of all thanks Jim Hewes and John for the V 1.40.1 ! :) I don't know if this bug existed in previous versions but when any LFO rate is not an integer ( i.e 5.000 Hz ) going to 0 Hz using Shift creates some odd " rebounds " that make reaching 0 Hz impossible while still using the Shift button. I...

Re: would you be interested in SOLARIS editor ?

Understood about the version number ... I 'am not fond of wires because they get in the way, but I'll deal with them ! Maybe wires like PCB tracks with ramifications : you start with a trunk then branches around modules ( easier said than done !! ) The side ( or later up ) panel could show all oscil...

Re: would you be interested in SOLARIS editor ?

Sorry Jim if I didn't even bother trying your Solarium : I was repelled by the screen shot with wires  I was terribly wrong since you already implemented plenty of features I was looking for :D Early adopters should give it a try again because from the changelog you started from very far away ...

Re: Developer Fund

A very important and time saving implementation I didn’t include not to be drown in my previous floody post … An entry that could be added in Assign menus that would do « clean the mess then defragmentation / more « During preset creation / modification there are plenty of what I call deadends : the...

Re: would you be interested in SOLARIS editor ?

Would be really interested for faster preset analysis ! But before an editor, in the meantime I would be extremely pleased with a VIEWER : you can't click to change but you visualize tweaks :D Of course for arp / sequences / presets and banks handling an edition part would be welcome later Some sugg...

Re: other Solaris hardware ideas

I would favor the " blackbox " and priced like the Sonic Core Xite-1D but with a headphone jack ! 4 ins / 4 outs and chainable with other units or Solaris Of course an editor ( my reply in the dedicated topic of Owners General Discussion ) I was wondering what would be the price of a cut-down Solari...

Re: Developer Fund

Hello, I’am definitely in for spending in the 200 to 500 $ range Since multimbrality shouldn’t impair further developments ( I really didn’t expect this at all ) I’am not against it … Really lukewarm for more global / final stage FX like reverb, I don’t mind a basic reverb or others FX onboard but n...
