Re: Level Mod destinations for rotors

Hello John ! Well adding the inputs levels in the Pitch, Xfade menu ... Of course if someone wants to use only levels modulation, he'll have to sacrifice Pitch and Xfade or choose combos like levels 1 and 3 modulated with also Xfade and Pitch modulation. If you manually tweak one level amount, you c...

Re: 1/3 of a bank

Enjoy josebasse !
I forgot to mention that ( normally ) the presets are " defragmented" meaning the first empty slot, unused " module " is the last one : for instance if LFO3 is not used LFO4 won't be used.
This is not gruyère !

Level Mod destinations for rotors

I hope it's planned because it's holding back the full potential of the rotors for timbral morphs

1/3 of a bank

Mostly weird drony atmospheric and a kind of a drum kit at the end !
Beware : some are using feedback paths of filters into mixers so be extra careful if you tweak, cutoff / res and level in mixers.
By default it's bank 15 so feel free to rename it .

Re: A single cycle reading mode for LFOs

To push this idea further, have a look here : http://xaocdevices.com/main/zadar/ :D So since there's some space left on LFOs page one, there could be numbers of repeats : infinite ( default ) then 1 to 999 ( ? ) and with one repeat, a sustain position point. There are also interesting geometrical sh...

Great software for single cycle waveforms design !

It's a free multiplatform and open source software for the E352 / E370 Synthesis Technology modules Grab it here : http://synthtech.com/waveedit/ It's both a single waveform and WT designer toolbox, tested and approved ! :) It generates compatible Solaris wav format out of the box for just one Ko pe...

Re: Totally stripped down presets bank

I'll make some for the Solaris when I'm not too tired after my work, a thing that didn't happen previously ....
There was a famous Daft Punk hit with excessive amount of vocoding, that was before : now it's more " older, slower, later " !!

Re: Developer Fund

@david : I'am for whatever works / can be done without reinventing the wheel / recoding / wasting time and money... etc :) @jim : I understand why you stick with wires so I'll deal with it ! I hope though you'll consider some kind of " branching " to reduce the amount of wires, most simple...

Re: Developer Fund

I would *** INSTANTLY *** pay Jim Hewes for the job already done on the Solaris OS and Solarium further development ( provided he has the time ) The Solarium approach is the most effective for a complex synth like Solaris, Jim has a Solaris and has successfully tweaked the OS for the benefit of all ...

Re: Totally stripped down presets bank

You're welcome !
I encourage everyone to make their own starter template variants from this blank page like OSC1 in mixer 1, OSC2 in mixer 2 ... etc for time saving purposes :)

Totally stripped down presets bank

I made a presets bank that goes further than INIT bank for my uses : the most blank I could get to really start from total scratch ... for instance all EGs are set to 0 except of course EG6. FX are on but you need to add them in FX channel 1 with input Synth for a start, other FX channels need an in...

Re: USB recognition since OS 1.4

Solaris not recognised as well here since 1.40.1 in ( updated ) Windows 10 Pro 64 bit I've tried various USB ports, most times nothing happens at all and at best it's recognised ( kind of : there's a line of ... in the retrieve USB peripherals menu ) in parameters it's recognised but with a driver e...

Trouble when tweaking down LFO rates with Shift

First of all thanks Jim Hewes and John for the V 1.40.1 ! :) I don't know if this bug existed in previous versions but when any LFO rate is not an integer ( i.e 5.000 Hz ) going to 0 Hz using Shift creates some odd " rebounds " that make reaching 0 Hz impossible while still using the Shift...
