Re: Glide time modulation and channel FX

Hi JoPo, To answer quickly - you cannot modulate these parameters. For the Glide Time, I will see if it is possible and add it to the feature request list. For the Master FX - as these are handled separately from the voice/synth DSP, there is no modulation possible from the voice code to the FX code...

Re: Developer Fund

All development work by Hrast has been done with the EZ-lite kit from Analog Devices. Unfortunately these kits don’t have enough memory space to store an entire Solaris OS, so Hrast has been waiting for a real Solaris main board to do the actual testing and so on. For this we had to wait for the Rou...

Re: vcs3 bubble patch help

Well, one thing you could do is use the Looping Envelope Generator. It’s not quite so easy as recording the MIDI output of the joystick, but you could set it up to be consistent and repeatable with the Looping EG.

Re: Reset controllers

Is this something recent, or it always was this way ?
If always, perhaps the cable from the aftertouch sensor is plugged in backwards.

Re: New OS Update - v1.4.3

Each preset has 4 oscillators, so if you mean 20 oscillators (actually 10 pairs of oscillators) playing 5 different presets, you would be correct.

As for different preset that are not in order - yes, this will be possible with the future “multimode” I would say, but that is still in the works.

Re: New OS Update - v1.4.3

Just create 5 presets in a series that have notably different sounds, then go to the first one and turn on the Patch Chain parameter, then save that preset. When you recall the preset, it will take a bit longer to first load, but you will note as you select different keys you will hear 2 voices each...

New OS Update - v1.4.3

Released today, v1.4.3 OS fixes a few small display things, and adds two new features: 1) Sample Load routine - Instead of loading samples from the System page, as we have done, now the loading is done within the Preset, on Home page 3, parameter named 'SmpPool'. Each preset can now store the sample...

Re: Question about Samples and Noise

As for the noise - I think of it as ‘global’, although as Jim pointed out, each DSP chip has its own code loaded.
