New OS Update - 1.4.4

Work continues to update the Solaris OS. Released today is v1.4.4, and here are the changes since 1.4.3: 1) Added additional labels and User 1 through User 10 to category filter choices. 2) The preset names and categories for all banks are now cached in memory, not just the current bank. 3) While br...

Re: "Smoothing" for WT scanning

Thank You, John, for taking time to evaluate this idea and answer. Different approach: how about adding new mod destination to Rotors? I am thinking about "Fader". At certain values - 0, 42, 82, 127 - there would be sound from respective sources. Between those values sound would be mixed, according...

Re: Developer Fund

Yes, I’ve asked HrastProgrammer to fix the key track to envelope issue.
We are also working on a form of MultiMode, but this is mostly in the Blackfin code that Jim is doing.

Re: "Smoothing" for WT scanning

Normanion, Thanks for your postings, however there’s not enough computational power in our current board to provide these kinds of interpolation schemes. As Hrast explained to me, there simply isn't enough power on a single DSP for all this. Wavetable oscillators are the most complex Solaris oscilla...

Re: OLED text displays

Synthwalker,

The connectors are wrong on this display, and would require a brand new display PCB be created for the Solaris.

Yes, the Event Horizon 1 set is included in the factory presets. If you contact Toby, he might make an adjustment.
