:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D My SOLARIS stays in sync with ableton. And more than that it's a clever sync : if i change the tempo on ableton it stays in sync but with no phase effect as other gear i own. JIM , you are the one. 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

Re: New version of the OS ? Soon or not ?

Ho! I'm so happy you eventually find the cause for the midi sync issue, i now can have hope to use the powerfull arpeggiator or the motion sequencer in my music.
By the way i'm still in love with my solaris after those years.

Re: New version of the OS ? Soon or not ?

Nice to see that something is happening....
For me the annoying bug is the impossibility to sync solaris with my daw or my tempest.
Can we hope some evolution here?

Re: VCA1 silent due to sigma curve of VCA3

Ok Christek, i understand why you do that. Yesterday evening i used this idea ( you gived me with your sound ) to create a sort of PWM on a sine, very interesting sound. I explain : VCO1 Square LFO 1 modulates the shape of VCO1 VCO1 into Lag1 with a time of 1.0ms: the angles of the square are shaved...

Re: VCA1 silent due to sigma curve of VCA3

I had a look at your sound. Nice sound by the way. Same problem the first time i used it. So i try to reproduce the same thing with a fresh one. I can't reproduced but i notice that the change of curve on the VCA3 have a great influence on the curve of the VCA1. Strangely when i came back on your so...

Waouaouh ! Thank you very much for this, not obvious at all, idea.
I've spent hours to try to achieve this and fail.
Nice, nice, nice.

Re: The synth freezes on boot

My two cents :
Today i had the freeze boot on the waldorf screen.
I reboot the unit: it seems ok but in fact i have sound on outputs 1 and 4 but no sound on outputs 2 and 3.
I reboot again, and it was eventually ok.

Re: Current State of the Solaris OS and Ongoing Development

Very good news for those who have midi issues : Drop and/or stuck with their Solaris and DAW. I have bought a little box wich seems to perfectly fix the problem : Alyseum : AL 88c. http://www.alyseum.com/al-88c.html A sequence is turning on Ableton since one hour and i experience no problem. The goo...

Re: Current State of the Solaris OS and Ongoing Development

I'm thinking about buying a tool wich could avoid those drop and stuck but i'm not sure of is efficiancy. An AL-88 from Alyseum, i have an MS 812 of the same constuctor in my modular and it's a sort of miracle. In fact the Solaris stuck and drop only with my daw, never with my master keyboard. And m...

Re: LCD replacement

:) Yes John, it's Ugly.
But it's more easy to read.
I'm not sure i'm intersted to do that on my unit yet.
Perhaps in some years, when i shall be totally far-sightedness.
