Re: Developer Fund

$200 is fine. Only thing I'd add is a nice implementation of Karplus Strong.

Re: What's next in OS 1.40 ??

I'd like to chip in another vote for the Karplus Strong being enhanced. i remember contributing regarding this yonks ago. Can't quite remember what the issue was the the KP filter set up via comb filters, was it the feedback not being tuneable or something? Props for the OS update however, absolutel...

Re: New version of the OS ? Soon or not ?

Thanks John I hope that the midi buffer situation is fixed (maybe a midi loop issue I suppose) where the big S misses note ons/offs making running from my daw/Cirklon impossible. Thank God I didn't weaken and sell it. Keeping the faith here! Mike PS also happy to test out as beta from the midi point...

Re: Holiday season wish

Just robust working midi would be good! I'm not far from a patience and sense of humour failure! i have a great synth that I can't use for studio work, agony!

Re: New version of the OS ? Soon or not ?

Hear hear, any news is always so much better than silence. Life is complicated and I think all of us can appreciate that. The smaller the company the harder it is to keep the plates spinning, but conversely the more likely it is that you can bring your dream to fruition! And thank goodness you have....

Re: New version of the OS ? Soon or not ?

I was just about to post the below in answer to the question on the open site and thought better of it before posting on the public internet. I thought it was better placed here: Do I still use it? Sadly for me the midi bug makes it unuseable to make music. I don't record to a daw, I use a Cirklon s...

Any update on midi buffer update?

Hi John Any idea when the midi buffer issue might be looked at. It basically makes the Solaris unusable for me other than as a solo instrument. Every time I plug it into my midi chained setup it crashes out by at some point missing the midi off and ending up with a stuck note or two. Its a great sha...

Re: New version of the OS ? Soon or not ?

Hi John, For me in terms of bugs/almost bugs 1. the midi buffer issue that makes it impossible to use the solaris for anything other than live in my complex set up 2. The redesign of the comb filter to allow more flexible KS effects I'm also happy to prepay for a major release of new software. Cheers

Re: Solaris receives midi in and goes crazy

That would make total sense with my experience of trying to use it with midi from the Cirklon. It sends out quite a lot of data regarding song position etc and note ons and offs are sometimes missed. A small buffer would certainly explain it! Seems the holiday buffer is larger than the midi buffer ;-)

Re: Several highlited preset names at once

I discovered what the problem was. If you are in ext midi mode, the BPM update overwrites the 1/3 page indicator, the up and down buttons still work, you just need faith that the pages are actually there!

Re: Several highlited preset names at once

When I press the preset button I only get one page, no numbers and the up and down buttons do nothing. Is there a different way to access preset without pressing the preset button?
