Re: synchronization with rme ucx
OK maybe that were too many (and not so smart) questions... so I will try one more time and boil it down to the following: The Solaris has an opt.-IN, so he is able to receive clock-signal and therefore has the potential to operate as a Slave but this functionality is not (yet?) implemented in the O...

Re: synchronization with rme ucx
Thank you for your answers. What I think I have understood so far is that there are actually 2 independent synchronisation-processes involved which do not interfere with each other at all. The first is the "musical" synchronisation of my outboard gear to the beat-grit of cubase. This will ...

synchronization with rme ucx
Hey guys... I just bought my first audio interface with digital I/O - the RME UCX (next to a complete new audioworkstation yipiee :D ). So now I would like to record the Solaris via SPDIF and ask for advice. So here are my question (please excuse if they seem stupid but this digital-sync stuff is en...

Key table issue
Hello... it seems that I have a problem with the keytables ... when I turn encoder/data wheel to set the value (prev/next) it doesn`t change. In the line underneath it seems that turning leads to a switch jumping from -0,1% to 1,0% - value parameter remains at 0,0%. this is with all the keytables 1-...

Not just the sound - also the support is excellent
Thank you for the fast, kind and helpful support John.
And for the record: The Solaris is a Synthdream come true. The sound is dense, clear and alive. The modulation-possibilities and the usability are straightforward. I am very happy with it

NRPN automation within cubase
Hello out there... i`m not an owner yet but hopefully receiving one in the next weeks :-) I am aware of the problem of full parameter-automation within cubase (just the 5 freely assignable CCs can be automated via regular MIDI). Since the lack of NRPN implementation of steinberg is mentioned several...

Re: While waiting for my Solaris...
Hello out there... i`m waiting for my Solaris :-) so i read these posts...it may be a dumb question but will it be / is it possible to drop the patch-data via usb (since i don`t have midi-connection)?...and i was thinking that it would be nice to collect (and share) screenshots of the presets that c...
