[edit].... Or, alternatively, something like a Shift function, whereby pressing Shift and rotating a knob gives ultra-fine resolution.[/edit] If you re-read my initial post, you will note that we currently do have a Shift function that allows going between 2 speeds - what I didn't explain is that '...

The knobs are all rotary encoders, except for the Master Volume. I understand the desire to have regular pots, because it's fast to program that way, and you get a good idea quickly of the ranges you're working with. I'm trying to record your requests for upload, but having installed Windows 7, I'm now having a bit of a problem getting GoldWave to work with my Scope board...so, as soon as I get this fixed, I'll post the 'boring' sounds! :-)

I'm sitting in the Sonic Core offices now, and this last week we have been discussing production. We may decide to produce an additional 25 units in the first build, depending on the response I get over the next several weeks. Please have a look at the PURCHASE page if you think you would be interes...

Just to let everyone know, after several weeks in the hospital, my mother passed away last Wednesday at 9:35 pm. Obviously I've been unable to attend to normal business during this time. Solaris continues to be in progress, but again we are delayed.

Yannis, Unfortunately, right now I'm dealing with a family emergency. Not to sound rude, but any update information that I send out goes to the pre-order customers only, since I have my first obligation to them. Hopefully your interest will return once we get to the point where we are ready to go in...

The Solaris will come in either a light or dark case, but only with wood side panels. For those who ordered in the very first group requesting aluminum panels - we will fulfill their requests for the aluminum sides, but there will be a slight additional cost for these.
