Re: REVIEW: Experience with the SOLARIS SYNTH
I definitely agree we need reverb, I would like to hold off using an outboard unit if I can. Interesting about the Charisma, my primary trick for getting soft synths to sound half-decent is to run them thru PSP VintageWarmer- I couldn't live without it. The Solaris by itself still absolutely blows t...

Re: What power-adaptor for the Solaris?
I was pretty surprised how small the Solaris power adapter was. Also, usually a good idea to label the power adapter so that you don't mix them up....!

Re: Reverb....
+1 on some kind of reverb; one of the unique and wonderful things about the Solaris is that it sounds excellent even when dry, I have been stripping effects off of many of the presets, but it would be nice to be able to add just a touch of reverb.

1) I wish I had seen this sooner, DOH!
2) Just curious, why is 38 blank on several lists?

Re: Just getting started...
I would still like it if the Solaris could bring up the last used preset on Power Up, is this possible?

Re: shift lock for faster value changes
I see... if the implementation is a bit complicated to add, because of the indication, a vice versa value behaviour of value manipulation may be appreciated. Fast value changes on all parameters+knobs as a default, and with shift you access slower changes (like switching to a loupe). Because, when ...

Re: Andromeda owners and Solaris , please share your thought
One thing I have definitely noticed, with the Andromeda presets were just drenched in effects, and sounded weaker without them. With the Solaris, I find that I am removing the effects in presets to make it sound "better." The overall sound of the Solaris really holds up dry!

Absolutely agree- especially VCO phase offset, and storing with preset.

Re: Your views on the overall feel?
I like the keyboard- it is one of the higher-end Fatar key beds that has a textured feel as opposed to cheap/plasticky. The Solaris and my VAX77 are now the centerpiece controllers for my studio. The wheels are pretty standard, similar to several other keyboards I have owned (including Voyager, etc....

An "oscillator slop" parameter to loosen up the tuning.
Power-up returns you to last preset selected.
