Re: Announce when you receive your Solaris!

Nope. Yet another German holiday. How they are the world's 4th largest economy is beyond me. Living in Britain, a county totally invaded by the US over the top, management consultant work ethic, where everyone at work is half dead on their feet and told they are lucky to be in work at all I have a ...

Re: We need more Solaris videos!

I don't mean to attach any blame to anyone in particular with the delay, as I said in my post I would imagine that you (JB) would be the most annoyed and frustrated out of everyone. I have no intention of cancelling my Solaris for a P12 for what I want I have every confidence it will be a better, mo...

Re: We need more Solaris videos!

I do however feel a bit sorry for John. I don't suppose he wanted to be in this position either. Of course I've no idea of the behind the scenes goings on but the average synth designer would have wanted to have had all 220 out the door, cash in the bank and be in the happy position of deciding what...

Re: notable celebrity seal of approval for Solaris!

That's great news John.

But he can get to the back of the queue!

 ;-)

I've searched and read as much as I can but cannot find the answer. I realise that Solaris software can do this but will Solaris be able to pull of the same trick? Its such a lovely sound. My rudimentary understanding is that it is often produced using a delay, so I take it I can use the onboard del...

Re: Wish List For Next firmware update 2012

That should keep them busy for about a decade! Oscillators and filters yes, more the merrier. Not so sure about extensive sampling, unless its going to go sum of sines / vsynth. Otherwise there's a million samplers out there already, including my emu synth 6400 ultra that's currently worth £60. Its ...

Re: Wish List For Next firmware update 2012

I think I'd prefer subset. The list might not be that long. Just because you have 90 mod paths doesn't mean you need to use them on 'every' patch! I'm not even that fussed that they are editable on the main screen. Maybe clickable on the main scree to bring it up the mod on the relevant su...

Re: Wish List For Next firmware update 2012

I've not even received the board yet but of course I already have a half baked opinion. So take with a pinch of salt! I'm not so fussed about multi-sampling, there are a ton of synths hard and soft that major on that (although if its on the list far be it from me to get it taken off). Once you've go...

Options and SPDIF

Hi I've got an order in with Thomann for a Solaris and I'm obviously very excited. So I've two questions: 1. Are there any ordering options other than colour, is there some sort of mod wheel / bend wheel option? 2. Is the SPDIF just 44/48k or will it do 96k (which would I would have thought been bet...
