Re: New board Coming

Hi, John Since the anouncement of the new main board to come, I wanted to ask you the following: - What would the new board add? Is it more DSP power (besides improvements on eficiecy) - How much would a new board cost for an existing user? would it be possible to buy it within the European Union? ...

Re: New board Coming

The v2.01 still feels a bit beta, at least regarding the Phase Osc when complex feedback is used on it which sometimes ends crashing or with extra latency. Pinmusica Can you provide more details about this? I have not heard about any problems with the Phase Mod type. Please send me details and if p...

Re: Voice Component Modeling

Thanks for posting this! One of the things I want to expand in a future OS is the mod source amounts for the envelope segments....if the 4 sequence rows were in the Source list, for example. These are on the list, as well as a few others.

Re: The oscillator & filter model of ARP Odyssey.

Hi, John. Would you consider adding the oscillator/filter model of ARP Odyssey to Solaris? Both models might be previously developed by Creamware / Sonic Core for the product called as Prodyssey. So, I wonder if you could make use of these resources. I can check it....I'm not sure if there are spec...

Re: Original Solaris Prototype pictures

I used to think that beginning to design simple sounds might be best with two direct accesses to amp and filter env, to quickly test and understand the interactions between the two env. So, you considered having two rows of encoders for the two 'main' env... What made you change your mind? consiste...

I have the original cabinet, of course, but the circuit boards were used for the engineering units. I don’t have those.

Original Solaris Prototype pictures

I came across some of the old Solaris prototype photos, and I thought people might enjoy seeing them! We introduced the Solaris at the Frankfurt Musik Messe at the end of March 2007. The original design features 2 rows of knobs below the Envelope section, so that you could easily adjust filter and a...

This seems like it is functioning backwards. Is this a bug or am I just not understating how it should work?

This just posted in the Solaris Facebook Group page from François: For those who waited so long ... You can get 70 presets that are demonstrated in the custom patches video, and 12 multi timbral (of course the one in the multi timbral video is included). Put your real mail in the form, because after...
