I agree... Although the plastic or "glass" that covers the center screen is not seated right and moves when you touch it. That really bothers me. It's the only thing besides the indent on the left most side of the ribbon where they had to drill a hole for the connections. A hard plastic bo...

I want to know what happened to the Solaris with the sun or "fire swirl" in the O. I thought that added a nice burst of color to an otherwise conservative layout. (Colorwise that is)

That is just the icing on the cake for me! I literally have owned and sold just about every Oberheim synth that they made. It is by far my favorite synth manufacturer and has yet to be faithfully recreated.. This news is just blowing my mind right now

I say just let John finish the synth so we can get our hands on it :) There will be plenty of time for updates. Plus once we have the Solaris and have had time to get intimate with it, we'll be in a better place to make update suggestions... John will deliver, we all know this :) The more we ask for...

I thnk i'm just gonna stare at the box for an hour in disbelief, then unpack it and probably stare at it for another hour while reading the manual. Then when I come back down to earth I'll fire it up and scan through the patches just to get a feel for it.
