To satiate my Solaris yearnings I revisited the Delamar video from Messe '08 yesterday, and I must say the power and texture of Solaris blew me away all over again. The example of the rotor was also great to hear. B787 I'm looking forward to hear your work using Solaris as well as many of the many t...

The wavetables that are included are taken from the original Waldorf tables that were made for the Scope platform back in 1998-john b. This is great information John, I knew the VS wavetables would be included but was unaware of the Waldorf ones. I've been very seriously considering picking up a Wa...

Not to be a killjoy of some sort, but if the Solaris isnt parked in my house in December 08 I must cancel the order I think, I told myself when I bought it, to wait untill December. (actually OCT/NOV) Sorry if a sound like a disbeliever, but that is my opinion atm. It will be very sad if it must be...

Hi Everyone! I guess I'm turning this thread into a 'daily diary' a bit. Hope that is OK. Today we spent the whole day (9 hours) with Howard Scarr here. I had invited him up from Frankfurt to have a look at the latest and greatest, and to get his input on some critical things. (Howard is registered...

I agree, this is great news John. I've already figured out exactly where it will sit under the Christmas tree. :D
If you need more elves to make sure it's done by Christmas we can send more or put the ones we have on mandatory overtime.

welcome to the forum sjones, no apology necessary. :) Thank you for the useful information regarding the options for adding your illuminated wheels to the Solaris. I've seen these quite a few times on matrixsynth and it's truly a beautiful addition to a synth. Also thank you for creating and providi...

Hi tinhu congrats on preordering the Solaris. :D
In one of John's comments earlier this week he mentioned he would be in Germany this week so I suspect we'll have a better idea of how Solaris is progressing and when production on the first units is likely to begin.
I've got serial number #0022. :D

Welcome to the forum Elie. I don't know if you're aware or not of the initial availability of Solaris. The first 50 will be the first to be produced, these were preorders which are already filled, the second 50 will be available before Solaris goes into the retail system. John is offering a discount...

I also favor the Fluxpad, to me it opens up the ability for creative options that a joystick cannot do. I love the joystick on my Wavestation but as jimmy said the fluxpad is this century plus it would eliminate the need to use an add-on ribbon controller. I have a ribbon controller on my Prophecy a...
