Re: Reverb - warp69 has graciously offered a reverb for Solaris! We would like to include it in the v1.0 release, but I'm not absolutely sure we will get it in there before release. (Note: warp69 has created some fantastic reverbs for the Scope platform. I realised after posting that there are many ...

Ah, Jimmy,
You have not read the warranty terms before? It is stated under the Terms & Conditions section on the Purchase page.....a one year warranty for parts and labor. :-)
Also, there's the 2 week money-back satisfaction guarantee printed there....

Facebook group

One of my long-time customers, Sven Hauck, has started a Solaris Synth group on Facebook. Anyone can join, however to do so, you must have a Facebook account. Once you are logged in, you can search for the group - it's just 'Solaris Synth'. A lot of the content you will have already seen here, but I...

This reflects some final parts costs increases that we have to pay, plus I decided to use a more robust power supply with IEC 3 connectors.

Hi All! Yes, the general feeling is that attendance is down. Most of the new stuff was shown at NAMM, and so the feeling seems to be that Messe just isn't as necessary as it used to be. Digidesign is not here, no Native instruments, G-Force software, Dave Smith instruments, Access Virus (although Ac...

Twitter Time!

Don't know if anyone is interested, but I signed up for a Twitter account last week to find out what it was all about. Now that I understand it better, I'm publishing it, in case you want to 'follow'. (Not that I'm writing in it very often, or is all that fascinating....). You can find me as: solari...

The Solaris will be able to process samples in the same way it treats oscillators - frequency modulation, effects, filters, etc.. However, I'm not familiar with the Nord Wave functions, but I know someone who is - carbon111 is his online name, and he has one. Not only that, but he is a Solaris pre-o...

Two more videos have been posted - The Effects (FX) section, and the Arpeggiator & Step Sequencer section. Because I wanted these videos to be brief, I didn't get into explaining how the step sequencer's 4 rows are assigned, but if you look at the second video where I'm describing the mod matrix...

Hi all, I just heard from Vimeo that they don't allow any commerical use of their site, so I will be moving the videos to YouTube for a short time, until we get a video palyer set up right here on our own. Here's the message I received this morning: Hi John, It gives me no joy to send you this messa...

Yes, of course. For a lot of the plug-in presets, you will actually find the same oscs being used repeatedly in several mixers, just with different filtering and so on. But each mixer is freely assignable from the Mixer input list. Also, on the plug-in I had a Modulation Mixer with 4 inputs, and the...

ScofieldKid, Yes, that's correct! The plug-in has it this way as well, of course, so sometimes I forget there's a lot of new users coming to this (now 6 years old ) plug-in design! In addition, the Insert FX can be placed between the Mixers and the Filters, or after the Filters (between Filters and ...

p.s. should I be putting these in reverse order on the page, so that the newest one always appears at the top?
