A nice little Chord Oscillator controller, a must for the Polka Kings.

Maybe a close up of Solaris's multiple " large " LCD's would silence the peanut gallery.

User made wavetables is definately a great feature. 32MB's would be plenty of RAM. Especially if that is a per preset based application. Combed Chime w/ Oberheim Synth String is one of many I already use in the software. It is a 24bit WAV made in Giga which is 2.1 MB's in size. Atmosphere was made f...

Dual Instances w/ 45 DSP's

I can't stop playing this synth. Using 2 x 4 voice instances I achieved an extremely unique layered pad, that can be split also. This sound is so awesome just holding a sustaining chord and listening to the timbres shifting gives me great pride. Using the Dynamixer w/ 2 x stereo channels allows me t...

Here's the XPander emulation using Solaris's Poly Glide features. There are zero effects, as the rich modulations negate the need for falseys. The echo one might detect is actually a long release on the envelope where an LFO is used for it's clarity and thickness. What about this FAT BASTARD? http:/...

Unfortunately my old presets cause problems when I load them from 4.1 to 5.0.6. BTW my birthday is 5/06,.....ankyuvarymush. This caused me to create 12 new presets. I can now add these new analog performance tricks to the Waldorf Pair II Oscillators. Sweeping the wavetables using an expression pedal...

SOLARIS SAMPLE OSCILLATORS

Dear John, I hate to be such a ball buster lately, but it's your fault for making such awesome synths. We will be able to use the Sample Oscillators in the hardware version w/ bigger WAV's? Also, would this be available in the software 5.0 version as well? Is there a limit in terms of MB's that I sh...

I totally agree w/ -MZ-.

I am buying Solaris regardless.

But really love the way I could use it on a keybed of my choice.

In the future an " XPander " which would respond to Poly AT where one could use an 88 noter.

Multitimbrality allows 88 notes to be used more effectively.

SOLARIS 5 FORMANT FILTERS

Well Here I Go Again, The new Formant Filters have been overlooked as I was in my quest for authentic analog performance features and sounds. I have been extremely sucessful in my first endeavor. The addition of the RDX External Oscillators is just too much fun, and having the extra Oscillators wide...

Day-ammn !! The RDX 2 CEM's seem to have much more volume than the other CEM's . I always compensated by using the distortion to add more volume. I think I found a new place to make presets. BTW, how many parameters are there now in Solaris? I have had this for a couple of years now and still keep f...

This is the perfect place, Great.

I have made some really neat stuff in SpaceF's MS, and Prowave using the Waldorf Pair II's.

I can only imagine the stuff in Solaris.

Thanks Chief,

Solaris W/ External Oscillators

Dear Brotha' Man John Bowen, As you know I always loved Solaris for it's sonic possibilites, but preffered ProWave for my live performances for it's faster loading of presets, due to a few hundred less parameters. But lately w/ the news of the XITE-1 this seems to be a non issue. I absolutely love t...

As long as John Bowen lives, the synth will be upgraded.

Even if he goes blind I am sure he will learn Brail and continue development.

That is a great idea though Brotha' Man Stardust. 8)

That Great News Guys, Since I will reside in heaven when that day comes this summer, I am going to sell all of my clothes too. QWave has some serious sonic possibilities. Keeping John Bowen busy is great for all of us. I am as excited now, as I was when I got the Oberheim Matrix 12 and XPande...

Check back again, I will be doing the poly synth stuff this weekend.

V5 is a great upgrade, which is nothing new if you know JB.

I heard he quit school in third grade because they had recess, and he don't play.........

Ankyu................Ankyu..........................Please stay seated.
