Re: Digital multi I/O

The only trouble I see there is that you would be "limited" to 8 channel 48 KHz ADAT out thus loosing part of the 96 KHz feature or getting in SMUX mode to keep 96 KHz but reduce to 4 channels loossing the stereo seperate outs for each part ... But then, choosing the 48 KHz out way, you'll...

Re: Production ?

I think the answer is available from this list:

memberlist.php?mode=group&g=38

Today 26 members registered as Solaris owners, so at least 26 units delivered ...
and as serial number reaches number #29 probably a few more.

Re: Quantum Wave SE Announced!

Got an answer from Ralf even with the eastern period coming. Great customer support as usual. Ralf suggest Jimmy V could have some figures to share with us ... By the way, John, where can we find the Quantum Wave SE install file. Ralf wrote me he could kindly provide me a temporary keyfile to test t...

Re: Quantum Wave SE Announced!

By the way, why don't you have an Xite-1 ? You deserve one ... Did you stop any update or new plug-in design on the Scope platform ? Well, to be honest, I can't afford one right now. All (and I mean ALL) of my money has gone into the Solaris development! Oh, I thought SC could have offered you one ...

Re: Oberheim Pan feature

Can you elaborate a bit more to "explain" this feature.
Do you mean there is a panning position that can be different for each note trigged ?
Or do you mean each oscillator as such things.
I thing the clever rotor module can achieve something even more lovely, no ?

Re: Solaris Module?

So I suspect a desktop model of the SOLARIS would be arround $ 3000/3500 if the spec is just removing the keyboard, wheel and maybe the Ribbon but keep the rest. with that in mind, I would estimate a Solaris 2 or 3u rack module, with one graphics display and limited I/O, to run around $2300. The So...

Re: Solaris Module?

The "Blind Soaris" would probably be the cheapest way to provide an expansion module to the SOLARIS to add some more Polyphony or play some extra tracks, with no real link/dialog between both unit except for the MIDI NRPN message. Only the preset management part should be kept then and the...

Re: Solaris Module?

I can't imagine needing more than a pair of inputs and outputs on a monotimbral synth. In terms of reduced DSP, increase the price as necessary, or make more DSP an optional upgrade....I must admit, I find it surprising a Solaris module would cost more than an Origin module, in terms of spec, to pr...

The SonicCore CZ osc available in Mod IV would be a great addition (similar to waldorf osc ...)

My 2 cents
