Re: control change

Hmmm, this is the controller for Expression. I'm not sure if, when using an Expression pedal with the Solaris, it sends out the same info - will have to check. What Solaris calls the expression pedal actually sends out CC4 which is Foot Controller. Maybe we could think about a special Midi mode Pre...

Re: Jog Wheel not working since OS upgrade

Can you revert back to your previous version to see if the wheel starts working again? What was your previous version number?
If that works, try updating to 1.3.1 again---perhaps something happened during the first update process.

Re: Arp not clocking/triggering correct.

Looking at this a little closer it looks like a bug. :( So far don't think there's a workaround for it. It will have to be fixed in later version.

Re: Arp not clocking/triggering correct.

I think I understand now and I might know what's going on. The Solaris arpeggiator always plays the first note immediately upon the first keypress instead of waiting for the next clock. The reason for doing that is because the timing feels more natural to the user pressing the keys. So if the chord ...

Re: Arp not clocking/triggering correct.

I don't understand your explanation and I'm not sure what you're trying to accomplish. The cirklon is sending out notes of its sequence to the Solaris, but then you also have the Solaris arp turned on, is that right? When the Solaris arp is on, notes received are not really notes but are controls th...

Re: v1.3.1 OS Upgrade released!

The RndTune setting on Home page 3/4 is the preset level setting. When this is set to "Global" it means that the preset defers to whatever the global setting is. The global setting is on System page 1/1. So the global setting doesn't override the preset setting. (And no, the setting on the...

Re: v1.3.1 OS Upgrade released!

I don't have a definite solution for you. But I wanted to suggest trying to update to version 1.3.0 and see if that's any different. If you've updated the firmware before then I'd hate to point out the simple things because you probably already know. But when using the method of modifying the doFlas...

Re: Assign 1 & 2 LED status on Preset select

Yes, that's the question. Say that the Assign1 function is set to GlideAll. Then I can go in to the individual oscillators and turn the Glide off (on one of them, or all of them) with the Assign1 still on. Then save the preset. What does that mean? Or, what if the Assign1 function is set to ArpTrans...

Re: Pitch bend wheel response- tracking problem

I've noticed the same problem. I just never mentioned it because after a few up-down movements it works. But I was surprised no one else did.

Since it's based on the JUCE cross-platform library I assume it should be possible for someone to build it to run directly on Linux. But I'm not set up with Linux at the moment.

Re: would you be interested in SOLARIS editor ?

Very cool app - thanks for taking the time to write that. My dream would be to one day have a VST app like that which would also allow patch switching and real time editing of parameters. Not sure what you mean by real time editing. It already does follow changes that you make on the Solaris. But m...

Re: would you be interested in SOLARIS editor ?

Since you bumped....I’m still continuing to work on this editor hoping the Solaris’s MIDI implementation gets finished. I thought about making it better looking with maybe a more traditional, modular look. Though Solaris has a lot of parameters and connections so it’s hard to fit. Be glad to discuss...

Re: Inappropriate voice stealing.

I was using the ver 1.2.11 you sent out to those with detented encoders. It only happens in that version. I just tried earlier versions and it doesn't happen in those. So I guess it's not the same bug as this thread.

Re: Inappropriate voice stealing.

I was about to post a possible bug, but searching through the previous reports I found this one which sounds the same as I encountered. It's reproducible. 1. Turn on the Solaris. 2. Switch to preset 3.23 called "KA JUMP" (Assuming you still have the original presets in there) 3. Play a few...
