NAMM Show 2009

We recently received our booth assignment from the NAMM Show, so I thought I'd post here, even though it's still a couple of months away (NAMM this coming year is January 15-18, 2009). Solaris will be shown at booth 1121 (John Bowen Synth Design). I'll also have the Sonic Core group there sharing th...

I had a look into the Origin's Manual - there wasn't anything about being able to send arpeg or sequence data out via MIDI as we've been discussing (though it might do it, I don't know).

Yamaha Motif XS for instance, I love the editor BTW for the synth, I've got the rackmount edition of the XS. Dave Smiths (Poly) Evolver also, that one has a special destination that can be set to midi out, so you can use even 3 lines for the internal synth and 1 line for the midiout port. The Proph...

Jimmy, When you say "detune" the mixer outputs, do you mean a pitch change? If so, the only way to do that is to use different oscillators in each Mixer, and detune the oscillators. If you are looking to just fatten things up with something like a chorusing effect, you can do the trick of ...

Jimmy,

Just program the Mod Wheel to affect the volume of the mixer input with the feedback sample! Each Mixer can have all inputs (and its final output) modulated by anything on the Mod Source list.

Ah, you mean, will the Solaris have an internal reverb as one of the effects?
We don't have it currently for v1, but we have discussed this, and will have one in there for the next v1.1 OS.

Jimmy, I think this is a question regarding the software plug-in version of Solaris. This topic needs to be moved to that discussion area.... To answer, you can load any DSP reverb into one of the 2 Insert FX slots in the plug-in's Miscellaneous page in the lower right area. (I just checked again - ...
