Re: Karplus strong

Nice work Weston, very good idea to reinject the second VCF in the first mixer, the sound is very punchy. And the combination of two or three serial VCF does the job. I was exploring another way, i shall give you my sounds when i'll have complete some more. For the othes user : if you try to use tho...

Re: Karplus strong

I've been trying on and off during the day, in between, cutting the grass, strimming and training my hops (yes I know not very rock star). Finally, at 20 minutes to one in the morning I've made it work, a nice plucked rich sound. I'll describe it tomorrow and try to get the hang of posting patches o...

Re: Routing mixer into output

After a little thought, i think it's probably not possible to obtain that in the physical configuration of the Solaris. Perhaps it could be possible to send, for example, vca3 into the output 7/8 but only the vca3. Probably this is not possible, because of the enable/disable part 1,2,3,4 switch wich...

Re: "Legato" behavior

And to clarify - you are playing a preset that you saved with the Legato parameter set to 'assignable', and it plays as if it were set to 'retrigger', correct? Correct. Patches saved with the Legato parameter set to 'Reassign' behave as if they were set to 'Retrigger' . To put it another way: When ...

Re: "Legato" behavior

1) go to any preset, select the Home page with the Legato parameter, and set the value to 'reassign' 2) select a different preset that has Legato set to Off (such as the first preset of mine in Bank 0), and look again at the Legato value Does it display 'Off'? Let me know... Yes it does ! But isn't...

Re: "Legato" behavior

Christopher,
you are not alone, my unit does exactly what you describe.
From time to time, perhaps randomly ( i shall study that ) the reassign parameter is not working : it does what Retrig does.
And effectivly reboot the Solaris is the only way i found to solve the problem.

Routing mixer into output

It will be nice if we can send, for example, mixer 1 on output 3. It will permit to modify the signal with external effects and, why not, use a filter on this modify signal or reinject this modify signal anywhere.

Re: SERVICE YOU CAN COUNT ON :)

:D Too bad you don't have the two....you could have played some old strangler's stuff with them. In fact i'm really thinking about buying a second one, because when i play one with one of my hand and put my other one on another synth, this one is very jealous. :( And of course it will be a black one...

Re: Solaris emits loud sounds when changing preset

Yes John, but i think i have understood what happens : it's a problem with the delay
On this recording ipass from 3.39 to 3.38 then 3.39 again.

Solaris emits loud sounds when changing preset

Hi,
I don't Know for you, but my unit emits very loud sounds when i change pattern and the previous sound Is not finished. I have sometimes , often in fact, the same problem if i disable the effect when the sound Is running.
