Cheers JB. There are now officially enough FAQ entries for that page to need more functionality. :D

The clarification helped, and makes the path link points much clearer. Outputs can be taken from any locations in a single path. Input locations are mixer inputs and filter intputs. I'm working on a diagram as well. But it isn't ready for prime time yet. Now that we have the paths clear, we can wor...

Updated. I linked to the description of the text file in this post until there's a better home for that information (another FAQ entry at least, or hopefully some info on manual page or etc.) There's a lot of questions on the forums, any more that stick out as being common things newcomers to John's...

Personal HAARP generator with the right presets to generate "good vibes" in the venue rather than the nasty stuff that HAARP is reportedly used for...oh 'frickin laser beams' would be bad either!

Spdif output locked @ 96khz?

It's nice to see the routing flexibility of Solaris & Scope together appearing here as well; I've got this mental image that Jimmy's going to wind up running half of his gear through this and laugh himself silly with all the fun he'll be having.

Thanks seamonkey, a good start! Also: What is the estimated polyphony for a typical patch? Expect 10 voices with the system going full - all 4 filters, oscs, etc. For the first release there won't be DSP offloading. ( JB's words ) Is the Solaris multitimbral or capable of keysplits? While you can't ...

Help with Solaris FAQ?

Hey guys, I'm wondering if you would mind helping jot down what questions have been frequently covered in the forums so far (or otherwise)? Basically I think it would be a good idea to collect some of these already vetted questions into the FAQ on the site so that things that are oft repeated can ju...

SonicCore has been able to get Xite out the door now, that should be an indicator that good things are coming. Keep in mind they're a large portion of the force behind the hardware development (with JB at the helm of his ship of course). Has to be a lot of work negotiating the release of 2 major har...

Forget multitimbrality, think Quadraphonic! Ok maybe I'm kidding... I'd suggest other uses for the 2nd outputs but I've no idea how you would shoehorn them into your current architecture (fx 100% wet outputs--or conversely the typical 'dry' output found on other digital synths, perhaps an m/s encode...
