Wow that sounds so sweet! It has an Oberheim and CS-80 vibe. I can only imagine how magnificent the hardware will sound coming out of my speakers!

That's a beautiful layout JB. I prefer that version over the other two. It looks very user friendly! I'm glad you decided to add the ribbon controller. It's the perfect length. This will be an instant classic! Keep up the great work.

+1 Fluxpad. I used to have a Roland V-synth and this sounds similar to the Time Trip Pad on it. I would prefer this to the joystick and hard to find Kurzweil ribbon controller.

I agree that orange would be nice on the SE version.

I used to own a kurzweil k2661 and used the super ribbon controller with it. It was very cool indeed. I can only imagine what fun it will be with the Solaris!

Thanks for the updates John. I'm glad you were able to make something happen with the Kurzweil ribbon controller. I think they are very expressive.I also like the idea of a special edition model for those who pre-ordered. A signature plate and led color wheels sounds cool.

I actually think it's nice. Maybe similar to the Oasys or Fantom endcaps.

That's great news John! I recently purchased a Keyboard back issue lot from late 70's to mid 80's.There's an issue from Jun.'85 dedicated to "The Fine Art Of Programming Synthesizers". There's an interview between 6 of of the best programmers of the time. One of them is a young bearded Joh...

hi John,

for the lighter case, the color of the Arturia Origin would be sweet! What type of knob cap are you switching to?

Thanks John. Those sounds are awesome. The two oscillators going into filter one is really sweet. I can't wait to get my hands on one!

Re: Analog Xpansion

 If the missing analog circuitry will (later) be considered a minus, maybe there could be room for a simple analog expander box, which Solaris could control directrly through MIDI. I don't think that would be necessary. The Solaris is a digital synth and will have Oberheim and Prophet rev1 oo...

Yes, that's what I meant. But then I just remembered that you made some of my favorite presets ever, so no worries. :D

Three hours of John Bowen and Hans Zimmer. Wow! What a meeting of serious synth geeks. Would love to be a fly on the wall during those moments! John I think it was fate that you'd end up getting input from one the most heavy synthesists on the planet for this giant leap forward in hardware synths. A...
