Re: New version of the OS ? Soon or not ?

11) last preset on power-up
12) optimization for 15 note polyphony (I realize this would be a large undertaking, but I think it would be worth it for further sales)

Re: Demo for Carl Lofgren's bank

I remember that I had a really "WTF!?" experience with Carl's bank of sounds, until I discovered that they make heavy use of the ribbon, and I hadn't calibrated mine correctly.

Re: Announce when you receive your Solaris!

Seconded. The written instructions to open things up (to adjust the pitch wheels) was downright scary.....

Re: Voice stealing of held notes

Part of the problem is that you get so lost in playing the Solaris that you venture into a bug without knowing how you got there! I even had that Osc display gibberish bug pop up again, but have no idea how it happened (no problems playing, and fixed with power-cycling). Right now I will continue pl...

Voice stealing of held notes

While playing moving chords in my right hand and holding octaves in my left, on several presets the held octave notes would be cut off- as if those voices were being stolen by my right hand playing. I noticed this on several polyphonic (i.e.., not "lead" or "bass") presets, and c...

Re: Solaris vs Prophet-12

It would be nice if the Solaris also had an internal power supply, but I understand why it was designed that way, and the actual power supply is pretty tiny.

Re: Solaris vs Prophet-12

I owned an original PolyEvolver Keyboard and PolyEvolver Rack (total 8 voices) and it was a wonderful synth- even the analog sounds were very good. When the Prophet 08 was announced, I sold my PEK/PER and got an early one. It wasn't bad, per se , but I felt that with the Curtis chips the overall fil...

Re: New Robert Wittek Presets!

I downloaded the presets and they are fantastic; but I don't seem to have a bank 6? Whose/what presets are those? Wittek is bank 7, but bank 6 is empty.
