Expression Pedal for Solaris
I have Mission Engineering EP-1 plugged into the Expression Pedal input and can't get it to change anything. This is a 10k "low impedance" expression pedal. I have a TRS cable connecting it to the Solaris. It is my understanding that the Solaris takes this input and routes it to "Expr...

Re: Using the SPDIF at 44.1 kHz.
Sam, this is what I've done. Set UCX to internal clock @96k sample rate. plug IN and OUT cables to Solaris from RME. RME driver reports signal at 48khz. Sounds fine, but it is not at 96k according to the RME driver. Set up this way, the sync light flashes to indicate a valid signal, but it never goe...

Re: Using the SPDIF at 44.1 kHz.
Is there anything i need to do to get it to sync at 96k? I can't seem to make it happen with my RME UCX set to internal clock, 96k. The Solaris still syncs at 48k and the RME just does SRC on it. Sounds fantastic, but I can't seem to make it flip to 96k using anything i know. Minor, and not critical...

There is an easy button to pay $10 for the soundset - well worth it.
I used the search function on his site to find it as the URL at the top of this thread no longer works.

Re: Announce when you receive your Solaris!
S/N 0142 has landed! I have just gotten it plugged in an am playing the first bank. The sound quality is completely over-the-top. Way better than any softsynth I own, and I have plenty of top shelf offerings. This is another league. So smooth, but with guts, harmonic richness. The hardware is very h...

It is not in English... Japanese? At any rate, any synth enthusiast can easily follow along. Sounds fantastic, and the ease of navigating the UI is apparent.
