Comb II Filter

The RD II Modules are great additions for a Bowen synth. Everynight I make different presets, usually one or two after a couple of hours of experimenting. It's really nice to take a break in performing and spend time creating. I used the Comb II last night w/ a quality SlapBack Delay and was amazed ...

Me and my big mouth.

This is a great feature, as I was having smooth crossfades, but certain tones I hear need to be boosted.

The other RD Rotors will work fine.

Thanks JB.

RD II Modules Rotor II w/ 4 x Waldorf Oscillators

Evolving pads are no problem in Solaris, but using Rotor II w/ 4 x Waldorf Wave Oscillators, and crossfading them is a one trick pony. It works rather well but I needed to have a wider variety of results by using MIDI CC's attached to an expression pedal that could change the shape knob while crossf...

Thanks for the tip there Brotha' Man Howard. If one was to fall for the hype and buy that cute little " set next to your phone " kind of synth, they would probably try to convince themselves of some sort of use since they got suckered. Synthesizers that are smaller than an Oberheim voice c...

GVI / LSAD / and BOWEN SYNTHS

Here's w/ the PCM91 and a super transparent DAS 1610ST comp added.

Of course the AUX Delay also.

Prowave 4 Bass / Solaris 4 Lead

http://www.planetz.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=24923

This is obviously a demo for the AUX Delay as it is way overused on the Rhodes.

But the big low end comes from Prowave, and the Lead is vrs. 5.0.6 of Solaris in the last Tag.

Preset Compatability

It seems as though there are some differences between the plug in and the hardware.

How would this affect the compatability of the presets?

Solaris is just the extendsion of all synthesis types, simply put.

I definately would like to hear drxcm ideas in audio as soon as possible though.

It's a great idea I am going to go try right now.

I like it.

Very sexy.

Does that incorporate fans also?

I could always have my Carpenter buddy add the wood after the fact.

I currently use a MIDI Solutions FP8 since I have 8 foot controllers, and an Expressionmate from Kurzweil. I believe this would be a great addition for Solaris. The ribbon has 4 zones and can do some really outside stuff, like bi-directional glides, etc. The FP8 is a customisable live tool, it shoul...

:D :D I can't thank you enough JB for creating this synth, and incorporating these features. I am well aware that I am technologically stuck in the past w/ my constant whining for analog emulations, and access to parameters for live performance. This synth has all of that, and the future wrapped up ...

JB,

I love these FF's.

Will I be able to assign an expression pedal to the Frequency knob to alter / sweep the filters in real time?

Interesting 4 Sure,

But I hope the Olive tinted version is still coming.

My Yosemite Redwood sides will be installed after the fact.

Yes, and thankfully some of us have the software to keep us happy till then.

I plan on using both versions this summer.

BTW John,

Is the poly glide stuff in the hardware?
