Re: S/H on LFO is not really random

OK John, i understand what you explain. So this has something to do with the 8-voice of polyphony. I try the same experiment with unison and now i don't have 7 notes but less and less when i increase the univoice parameter. After that i obtain the final proof it has something to do with polyphony : ...

Re: S/H on LFO is not really random

Hi John,

Sorry for my English, but i never speak English.
Hope you can understand it.

If other users can try this, it could help to understand what i'm doing wrong.

S/H on LFO is not really random

Hi, perhaps not a bug and perhaps already report and discuss but i can't find the entry. Take a blank pattern Osc 1 : Source 1 : LFO 1: Amount 20 : Dest : Pitch LFO 1 : Shape S/H : 0.000Hz (or a little more, <0.250Hz is ok ) retrigger : on ( but it's not necessary ) Play repetitivly one note : you o...

A demo-video wich show an I-Pad driving a Solaris

http://youtu.be/K3g46heThis

No artistic dimension here, only a little demo to open the universe of possibility.

Only two osc are used : MM1 saw and in the end MM1 Ramp.

The filter on the two osc is MM1 LP3

The filter on the rotors is MM1 LP4.

Re: Event Horizon (128 patches for the Solaris)

Thank you Toby for your excellent work,
i made a donation today.
Your sounds are the most usefull i found on the solaris until today, almost all of them are a source of inspiration and are highly playable.

Re: Event Horizon (128 patches for the Solaris)

Thank you very much Toby, I spent 1 hour on your 13 first sounds, very well designed. The use of the joystick is simple and effective. The bass are very impressive : you use and abuse the jaws for that wich seems to be the right path. Now i have to work but i'll come back with more impressions. Patr...

New version of the OS ? Soon or not ?

Hi John, have you an idea of the date when we can expected a solution for all the little bugs wich are still on the machine ? Is there someone working on it at this time ? Have you somewhere a list of the priority bugs you want to be fixed ? For me, the most annoying bug ( on the way i practice musi...

Thank you Plug and Zalush to confirm this issue. Very annoying for me.....It make the Arp function not usable in a recording.

Re: I move the joystick - and the bpm goes nuts

Regarding bpm sync - here i can be quite certain that my Solaris unit has a problem. The fact is that all the other hardware synths connected to it (GRP, Vermona, Boomstar) and receive incoming clock from cubase - are in perfect sync. Wether it's the GRP's step sequncer, or lfo - or the lfo's of th...

Re: Having trouble getting my head around velocity!!

You can try to directly control the pitch with the velocity without using an envelop.
Is the envelop correctly control your pitch if it isn't map with the velocity ?
On my synth the two methods are ok.

Mine also had two pieces instead of 3.
I'm luckier than you, it comes in good condition.
Perhaps they changed it after your midsaventure.

Re: Standard and Dirty analog sounds

Yes there is a noise (S/H) oscillator.
The sort of aliasing is what i wish to have: i use for that a decimator.
