Re: Solaris receives midi in and goes crazy

I did run into stuck notes oddly enough when automating CCs so i think this is a Repear notes on issue, but there is a MIDI Loop, that's for sure, as I have active sensing disabled in the Hardware Routing Filters. Day off on Monday and I will reset MIDI FIlter so BCF > Solaris will kill the Loop if ...

Re: Solaris receives midi in and goes crazy

FWIW I should explain my rig. 88 note 4 zone MIDI Controller, and Solaris use a hardware merge box into the BCF 2000. MIDI Out A from BCF > into a hardware router > S|C XITE-1 and MIDI In of the SE-1X. Then I tested the MIDI B Out of the BCF 2000 into Solaris MIDI In. Depending on the Controllers Mo...

Works on my PC just fine, but I prefer MIDI from PCI-e/PCI.

Re: Reverb....

Especially with the Feedback paths and the AP Filters. I have sort of a single voice version of Solaris in Modular, as I cannot make the patch any bigger, it takes up the entire project window as it is, in Scope Modular IV. But I have been trying all sorts of tricks in Solaris and in Modular IV to t...

Re: Karplus Strong

I have made a couple of really nice presets based on your models. Thanks for your excellent work. I have a really decent sounding Leslie Guitar that sounds exactly like Steve Howe's counterpoint during the song And You And I. Really surpising, but I do run Solaris rthrough a new Leslie Studio 12. Mu...

Re: New German review online - with the best sound examples

Well let's get to the point,.......how much, and is PayPal OK to use.
Love it, someone with talent and time and technique.
At least tell him to send me an email and a price JB, I have no problems paying for quality.
THis guy was making patches in his head before Solaris arrived.

Re: Volume knob wobbly

The upside to any of these inconveniences is not once do we hear users unhappy with this FAT Bastards sound quality. Well on forums there are those who never really played one that have opinions which are eaisly beaten into the ground by a demo using Solaris as a Lead or Polyphonic. I simply ask the...

Re: Volume knob wobbly

I can suggest running the digital out into an AES/EBU input therefore bypassing the knob completely.
I always liked using feet anyways, a hand not playing notes is a sin at my gigs, as it's a part that dropped out....

Re: Reverb....

The Sonic Timeworks STW Plate is really nice but way too many features that are unneccesary IMHO. They are equally good Reverbs in Scope DSP that could be used me thinks. For example the 5.1 Room is easily expandable vis Decay Time to a Hall, Arena or other Canyons that excite people. It's especiall...
