Solaris keybed
Just curious: I have known for quite a while that the keyed is a Fatar but what model is it? Not that it really matters, but the point is that it has a rather nice feel to it and it compares very favourably to my other synths and there is a cat inside me dying to know…

Re: Radikal Technologies Accelerator or DSI P12
I ended up with both… They both complement the Solaris excellently and I have today a rig that I am both proud of and very content with. I don't think that there is anything out there that I would buy today, with the sole exception of a Schmidt Poly Analog , even if I had unlimited funds. And ...

Re: Boutique Synth Manufacture / SUNSYN / SOLARIS etc.
One thing is for certain, I am keenly interested in getting my hands on a SOLARIS and putting it work on a couple of projects ... one of which is fairly big and comes out next year ... but, I cannot talk much about it since I am under a Non-Disclosure. At this point though, I am glad that I am on t...

Re: Basic Collection
So I have both an Arp and a Seq folder - the Arp folder contains 6 files and the Seq folder 1. Is this the way it should be or do I have a problem with my setup? I also double-checked with the archive folder that John has made available. The content of my Factory folder is identical to the one in th...

Re: Basic Collection
What am I missing? I have your patches and they sound indeed impressive but for some reason, whenever I load anything from your presets, there is an error at the bottom of the screen that reads "Pattern 2 not found". What am I doing wrong?

Sound design walk-through wanted
Hi, I have my Solaris since late September and I have been playing around with the presets and the sound banks made by all you people. Love it! However, this has not only impressed me with the instrument's capabilities but also made me want to play around myself. The manual is a bit compact, to say ...

Re: Load SingleCycle Waves?
Yes, I wanted to add folders for the WAV Osc type, as I have also encountered the problems of organizing as you mention. This will be one of the items to be fixed. We also want to have a multisample .WAV object. It's not clear to me if we need a new Osc Type or if we can stay within the .WAV type. ...

Re: Creamware Noah
Thanks for the tip with Planet Z - there were quite a number of tips there so I ended up buying the thing. We agreed on a final price of 270 euro which I though was OK. I liked the sound of the synths and I need a small MIDI synth to use with sequencers for bass and such. If it does not work I expec...

Creamware Noah
I have stumbled over a Noah that can be had for a what I believe is a reasonable price (less than 350 euro). Is this any good? I have no experience of these machines, apart from the Solaris of course, and no idea if this is a good deal, i.e., if I should go for it, just for trying out the thing. Ide...

Re: 54 patches after 1 month of Solaris
I have some weird problems with your patch #41 "FN Lead Funk Joy" - E3 sounds OK, E3flat is breaking up and D3 is just plain silent as is the rest downwards. Am I doing something wrong? Sorry, my bad - I got it working; for some reason I had my joystick at the leftmost position when it re...

Re: only 7 bank ?
You only see the the banks for which you have sounds installed. Check your CF card and you will see the structure and you are free to add more banks and sounds to them, just by copying the new patches from your computer to the CF card. Rather nifty, if you ask me
