Solaris and automation?

Post by Zahush76 »

Not sure if this has been asked before. Couldn't find anything on the FAQ.

Can solaris be automated via midi cc messages, from cubase and such?
All parameters? Some of the parameters?

All parameters are available as NRPN.

Hi.
While trying to understand how this works - i went thru the list of parameters that can be controlled using NRPN's (pg 61 - 64 on the manual) and couldn't find filter(s) cutoff. Have i missed something...?

Because the filter cutoff is usually thought of as a frequency (although we don't display it as such), at least in older engineering references, they talk about "tuning" the filter - which is done by adjusting the Cutoff:

Fil1Tune0 - 593
Fil2Tune0 - 628
Fil3Tune0 - 663
Fil4Tune0 - 698
