Solaris and S/PDIFoutput mode

Post by RogerAbe »

How do I get the S/PDIF output to work on every patch and patch change? I am using a Universal Audio Apollo Twin that has S/PDIF input built in and it works and sounds great but I have to manually change the Solaris output location after every preset change. There must be a way to make S/PDIF the universal output?

1. Using the More button, go to the Output page and set the S/P-DIF output to FXChan1.
2. Go to the System page and set LoadOuts to Off. This will prevent the S/P-DIF setting from changing each time you load a new preset.

The LoadOuts setting can be saved in the Global settings so it will stay that way. But the individual output settings are stored in each preset (and are ignored when LoadOuts is set to Off). So you'll need to set the S/P-DIF output once each time you power up.
