I am having a hardware LED made that will be connected to Solaris for the sake of monitoring BPM's live.
I am hoping it will work. The creator is a Scope developer of yore, and says he is making a blinking LED that could attach to the A16U, or a 1/4" I/O from Solaris.
It sounds useless to many, but I use to practice piano to a silent metronome in the dark for classical piano, and it gave me the idea of this.
I currently have to strike the keys to create a tail which I can then follow. I love playing live on top of delays, but this should eliminate the guesswork, and allow me to use a pedal for bypassing / soloing the effect, and be able to sneak the effect in w/o using an audio tail.
I suppose Solaris will have some quality built in delay effects.
Would this be workable for Solaris?

Jimmy,
I saw this discussion over on Planet Z...not sure how this would work exactly.
What would be the source material generated by Solaris that would drive this LED? It seems you'd be better to have an external clock source drive it, and then slave everything (including the Solaris delays and LFOs, etc.) to an incoming clock (would have to be MIDI clock).

Yeah JB,
I was wondering about that myself, but Nuetron has yet to describe to me the exact details.
I know he will explain things soon, and I will post the results.
I am excited though.
What did think about the Rotor II preset?
