I wouldn't mind a quick update on things John
although I have the last update for general timeframes.
Privately or via this thread. Happy 4th John :)

ummmm could be an imposter, only one way to find out.:)

If you really are John Bowen, where did you get the samples such as sonar, tubular, ah voice, etc for the Korg Wavestation? were these from the Korg library and instruments such as the M1 or did you guys sample them yourselves?

Sorry if this is off topic.

Why would I be an imposter on my own site?
re: samples for Wavestation - those would have had to come from the Korg sound library...along with all the other samples I had to deal with - they all came from Korg Japan, I believe. I just got to process them, and in some cases, got to make some weird things for some of the expansion cards.

 I was just feeling in a silly mood I guess.

Thanks for the Wavestation info john. I've been playing mine a lot lately, and I'm amazed at how beautiful and undated it can still sound.
There is such an undiscovered palette of sound lying in the short samples of everything from the VS and OB samples and all the other ones.
I see some similarities between the Wavestation and Solaris and can't wait to play mine.

cheers

Just waiting patiently, obviously not much to talk about until JB gives us updates.

Hi all,

can we please have a little info as to what is happening? Final specifications? Manual perhaps? No?

I'll be making an update to all pre-order customers probably around the end of September/1st week of October. Still picking some things for final spec, so no finished manual yet, but if you have specific questions regarding a favorite function you have in mind, please ask.

I will let the man work, and wait with baited breath... feels like we're in the home stretch.
