Update to Solaris videos

Post by John Bowen »

Hi All,

I have added an update video (split into 3 parts) to show the revamped main display screens and new functions. Please have a look at the Solaris Video page:

Hope you enjoy it!

Excellent mouth watering options.
Unison Chord is great, sostenuto sustain is totally unique as I know of no other synth allowing this.
Would sos possibly retian the sound of the last preset while loading a new one.........?
That is a performers dream come true. Reminiscient of the old Ensoniq synths.
The Glide options are staggering and the idea of having every preset with the global over ride options are killer.
These are great to have as I can better visualize what my live needs might be.

I am looking forward to learning how I can use Solaris as a part time controller for Modular patches in the XITE-1.
Another nice feature is inputs and outputs changed via preset.
That is perfect for when I want s synth pad to throught the Rotary Cabinet and then have the same preset used again with different outputs to return to a regular routing.............sweet.

Very well thought out, with a mind-boggling set of useful features!

Two small suggestions:

1) How about a generic Reset function for the currently active page/feature using a key combination (e.g. hold down the ENTER key for 3 seconds)?

2) The key tables might need two types of "0" value - one which is the default and one which is specifically user defined - otherwise intermediates are always interpolated.
