ELP S & H Patch Needed........

Post by scope4live »

JB.
I am having difficulty getting the sound ELP used on Welcome Back My Friends.
Could you hook me up...?
Then I can dissect the S & H once and figure out how to use it better.
I am too used to the Odyssey and Oberheim way of programming and need your divine assistance.

Hey Jimmy,

I'd start with using any LFO with the S&H waveshape, and route that to the filter cutoff. Adjust speed and amount to taste - and put up the resonance, of course.

Got it.
Using a Noise Osc and a Saw I managed to get good control over the randomness too.
I like this much better than the traditional appraoch..
