Wrong display on osc screen
It's the second time i see this problem.
The only way i found was to reboot the Solaris.
I was only passing from a preset to another when it happens.
I was not able to reproduce that.
Another bug i saw only one time : my unit was stuck on the waldorf screen when booting. On ly a reboot has solve this.

Re: Wrong display on osc screen
THe stuck on reboot happens, and I mentioned this elsewhere - we discussed why it is happening, but Julian needs to take a closer look to verify. It's the same reason he thinks for when sometimes you boot the synth and there's no sound coming, even though it looks fine.
As for the weird text display - this I have not seen ever, but you posted it, and one other guy wrote about it. Please try to see if there is anything that brings this about - it's really puzzling to me, as I have never experienced this.

OK, are you sending program changes to it, or just that the parameter is enabled, and you are changing presets manually?
Re: Wrong display on osc screen
I must be the other guy, because I have seen this happen exactly twice. It did not happen on initial boot, but when I was rapidly adjusting oscillator parameters. I have not been able to re-create it. Rebooting the Solaris fixes the problem.
As far as getting stuck on the Waldorf screen, I have seen that once. I have also seen it gets stuck on a blank screen. JB informed me that it was a bug in the booting process and that they would be working on it. It happens only rarely, and a reboot fixes it.
