Turning performance knobs affects sequencer note timing

Post by inaheartbeat »

Symptom:
Manipulating performance knobs while sequencer A is running clocked to internal tempo causes sequencer to skip or delay notes.

OS version: 1.2

How to reproduce:

Create a polyphonic patch with a sequence on sequencer A and have it modulate oscillator pitch. Define performance knobs to control parameter(s) such as filter cutoff or amp envelope attack rate. With sequencer enabled and clock set to internal at 132 bpm play three notes simultaneously and turn one of the performance knobs. You can hear an audible glitch in the sequencer as though it is pausing briefly or skipping a note before continuing. As soon as you are done turning the performance knob the sequencer plays in time correctly. I have midi transmit set to off for all parameters. Nothing is being sent to the Solaris as I can do this with my DAW off and the Solaris effectively operating fully standalone.

This happens every time so it is not a random event. Totally reproducible. I have not tried this with external midi clocking.
