MIDI test files for PAT and Note-off velocity

Post by eric »

Here are 2 test files in both Cubase .prt and standard MIDI file format.
You can use them to test if your sound modules/plugins support either MIDI message.
I'd like to know the results please, and so too, would others, so if you test anything just post the device name and which messages it supports.

Thanks.

Eric.

Way to go Eric....................
I am very, very interested in this stuff.
I even needed to but a second controller for sampler apps, so I am holding out to see the benfits of PAT with Kontakt and Solaris/Prowave.

What exactly would you want to do with PAT using a synth.
Surely more than the basic vibrato.

PAT applications

Hey Jimmy,

The theory of what you can do with PAT and what you may actually be able to do with current Scope developed insttuments may differ. :(

Keep watching....

Eric.
