more powerful output routing

hi all !
It would be awesome to have the possibility to route any signal from solaris we want to the analog 4 outputs.
for instance:

out1=>VCA1
out2=>LFO2
out3=>VCA4
out4=>Ribbon signal

Do you mean the 4 pairs of Outputs? There are 4 analog INPUTS, if that's what you were talking about...

I talk about outputs.
for instance if we could just output on OUT 3, the LFO1 signal, it would increase the link with analog gears !
(because we can use inputs to get cv from ext analog gear, why not be able to do the opposite and control analog gears !)
easy to say, maybe hard to achieve :-)
would it be planned ?

This is a great idea! Would be nice to be able to send individual signals out for processing and/or capture.

I would be surprised if this were even possible.
The Solaris is a digital synth, its LFOs and envelopes are not an analog electrical signal you could patch in and out like in a modular synth, they are software functions that shape the output from previous functions (oscillators etc), the result eventually goes through the DAC where it becomes analog and gets sent to the audio outputs.

What would such a signal even look like ? Can you do CV/gate stuff over standard audio outputs ?

You cannot do CV/gate over these outputs because they are not DC coupled. In addition, D/A converters used for audio are not really good at precision DC, which is necessary for CV generation.

Tony is correct, and I've mentioned this in another thread - the output is AC coupled, so you really can't run control voltages in/out of the Solaris.
