SPDIF to AES/EBU .....Awesome

Post by scope4live »

I am using the XITE-1 and wanted to hear if Solaris could sound better using Digital I/O's as opposed to the Analog I/O's of the DSP rack.
It sounds incredible, even more clarity, and that was 48k.
At 96k it's even better. I will pray my rather effect heavy projects in Scope can handle the extra 96k push.

I seem to lose control over the Volume Knob as it no longer controls the volume, nor does the Expression pedal.
I can turn the knob counterclockwise to "0" and it still has no effect.
This is no biggie to me. I can use the automations that Scope provides, but just in case someone wants digital for cheap, and has an AES/EBU port, the Hosa ODL 312 works like a champ.

Now for another little demo....

She’s quite impressive! The synth sounds nice, too :-)

Yeah she is shaped like a Seahorse and has some serious smackers.
I can't possibly have a demo of Solaris w/o having something equally beautiful to compliment it's unequalled sound quality.

Thanks again for making my life easy.
Recently did a gig outdoors in a great ampitheater, and I could hear my synths being naturally echo'd and it was just beautiful...

What's even more impressive is I use Speaker cabinets that have multiple I/O's and are self powered.
On Solaris I have the Analog I/Os connected and the digital.
I do run the digital thjrought Scope XITE-1 since it is fierce, and has no equal.
But......if the XITE-1 were to crash, which by the way after 3 years has never happened one time, I have a 2 preset lists where the Digital I/O is used on Bank 5, and the Analog I/Os on Bank 6.
If the DAW or the XITE-1 crash I simply go to Bank 6 and continue performing.
One more reason why Solaris is a performers dream.

Ankyu................and Guten Tag.. 8)

Coolness ......Thanks.............
I am a live Juke Box for a living, so I take requests..
Making all sorts of sounds I need, and then some never heard so I can stand out from the Motiff/Receptor/Nord/Virus crowd.
Not to make John mad, but I definately don't want anyone else around here to have a Solaris.
Right now my keys are of a signature nature and operate in realtime.
Most my bros are preset riders, but they do drool over the Solaris, and oddly enough the Ribbon gets 'em worked up...

" Wow, you can detune Oscillators in realtime..." & " Dude is that Sync pitch you are controlling with that thing...? "

Sho Nuff......
