Quantum Wave

Post by nachtsmeer »

Quantum Wave is a huge monster plug-in which John created based around the the Waldorf Wave. Like all of John's work it has character and masses of parameters to get your head around.

Even though it ONLY has 4 instruments (the WAVE has eight :o ), this is much much more than you'll ever need once you're familiar with what you can do with just one

The new soniccore Xite-1 will indeed be a boost to Quantum wave regarding handling, speed and voices.

Very promising

QWave 1.2 now has seperate Oscillator glide amounts like the hardware Solaris and DSP version 5.0.
QWave was just ahead of it's time.
I think JB always knew more power would be available, and now the XITE-1 will make this and Solaris 5.0 the soft synths to have.
I don't know of a wavetable synth in hardware of software that can do what this beast does.

I only wish I could get the CEM Oscillators as a new RDII Module to use with it.................... ......................Sorry 'Bout That Cheif.

Jimmy,
The CEM osc is already available in your RD series II modules.
Look for 'CEM Oscs-Pair II'.

CEM's sound nice and PolyGlide really helps out when more traditional synth stuff is needed, Thanks JB.
