Instruments / Performance 4 QWave

Post by scope4live »

I have dived into this awesome synth the last few days, and can't believe I didn't see the beauty of this beast until recently.

I have always used Solaris and Prowave for wave work, but that won't be necessary anymore.

I was quickly able to make some instrument presets and start combining them into larger performances.

That lead me to start making wave envelope presets which I can set up for lengths and different speeds I like.

This synth has become my newest love.

As usual the preformance and presets that came with this synth are awesome, and great learning tools.

Definately another great synth from John.

I would die to see the Solaris BETA PolyGlide features w/ this if there ever is an update.

Great GUI as usual too. Thanks JB. :D

BTW,

JBowen must have been cloned considering the amount of work he gets done.

I never thought I would see QWave upgraded until after Solaris.

Just recieved a BETA 1.2 for QWave w/ Solaris's PolyGlide features.

And people wonder why I don't buy Roland, Yamaha, Korg, and Kurzweil products?

Their upgrades are only regurgitations that are weak in nature, as well as sound.

I can actually use 4 Oscillators for analog type pads, w/ all of the performance features of a real hardware synth, and use the other 4 Oscillators for wave synthesis type sounds that have long attacks.

Kind of reminds me of an Oberheim MIDI'd to a Waldorf Wave..........a giant morph. 8)
